congratulations. the left has now gotten everything they wanted. i hope that president bush’s pick will be a strong secretary of defense, and that he will give us a fresh perspective on iraq and a good strategy to finish what we started there.

  1. It’s a Great Day for America! A change has begun.
There is much work to be done, but you have to start somewhere.
As John Edwards says, ‘America, we’re better than this.’

  2. No, not everything. Bush is still there. BTW, ‘Left’ is NOT a dirty
word. We are also very patriotic. We just place our country ahead of
    the dirty dollar.

  3. Hi Lisa, glad to see you had some energy to write. I don’t know about you, but I’m exhausted. As you can guess, I’m rather happy right now. But it will be a long two years and the Dems have a full plate of things to work on. Don’t get yourself too down. It’s really not worth it. Life goes on. It’s college bball season now so we can go on to debate about that 😉

  4. One Voice,

Now is the Democrats’ time to prove they can be a capable governing party. We shall see if they are up to the task. If you are expecting me to defend Bush or praise John Edwards, you should know by now it’s not gonna happen. Thanks for stopping by.

  5. Thanks for not gloating. I appreciate it. You’re a classy guy and your party doesn’t deserve you. I am not depressed that Republicans lost. I am depressed that they surrendered. I am angry that Bush will now have the ability to do what he REALLY wants to do in terms of illegal immigration and spending, and will lose the ability to do what he feels necessary in the war on terror and to nominate true conservative judges.

Maybe you are right and the Democrats will prove all of the doubters wrong. I’m not optimistic about it.

    Oh yeah…go Tar Heels! 😛
