let it snow, etc.

enough with the bad puns. congratulations to tony snow on the new job. i hope that he won’t be sorry he took it, and that he will be able to help the president get back on track. i will admit that does seem to be a lost cause right now, but things could change between now and november. you just never know.

read this related fiction. it’s from the comic geniuses at imao. i love it. you will too.

more later when the heavy flu meds wear off.

  1. If someone’s press secretary isn’t a yes man then what is he?

    I’m in agreement with George Will on the Snow matter and think Snow will not make that much of a difference for Bush. But he will be a welcoming change to see.

    I vote Democrat so you are right, in an election year there isn’t much Bush could do that I would agree with. 🙂

  2. Obviously. 😛 Tony Snow isn’t a politician, which should give him more credibility. He’s also someone who disagrees with Bush on quite a number of issues, so it’s not like he is a “yes” man type. Isn’t that what all you cynics wanted, someone who is not a Bush-bot? Of course, there is nothing Bush could have done that would have made you happy, is there? 😛

  3. I’m going to shock you and sort of disagree with what George Will said. I think that the answer depends on what the real problem with the administration is. If it’s substance and being wrong on issues, then there’s not much Tony Snow can do about that unless he starts giving policy advice. If these poll numbers are just about Iraq, then I don’t see them changing much. If the problem Bush is having is a communication problem, then Snow will absolutely make a difference there. (And he’s nice to look at too…)
