  1. anyone who is NOT from New Orleans or the underlying parishes, just shut their mouth. You have no idea what we are going through so don’t try and pretend you do. And, if you think you do, stop thinking. It’s beyond your comprehension and I don’t want you dying of a stroke.

    You’re right. I don’t know and can’t possibly know what you and other New Orleans residents are going through. The link was provided simply because there was a lot of demand for it from residents of New Orleans…at least from my site stats anyway. If you really want to know what I actually wrote myself about Hurricane Katrina, then click the category and read those posts.

    In summary, I think many people screwed up in handling Hurricane Katrina. FEMA did. Your governor did. Ray Nagin did. I’m surprised that there is so much support for Ray Nagin out there, because I don’t think he did all he could to assist the evacuation. But I don’t have any right at all to tell you how to feel about him.

    I am truly sorry for your loss, but I think you are misrepresenting my position on this based on this post.
