After 4 solid years of gutter approval ratings for their president, ratings the GOP put aside as media hysteria and inaccurate, polls have once again returned as a proper measurement tool. I could keep going but all you need to do is look down the list of polls and see the stimulus bill does have support amongst the American people. If we're talking about things being unpopular, there's nothing more unpopular amongst the American people than the Republican Party. Or if we're talking about what side people are on, it's definitely not the side of the GOP. Oh I get it now. Looks like to me the American people do support the stimulus bill.

Latest CNN/Opinion poll: 54% approve
64% say the bill will offer “a lot to some” relief to the economy.

Gallup: 80% believe it’s critically important to important in passing the bill.

I could keep going but all you need to do is look down the list of polls and see the stimulus bill does have support amongst the American people.

If we’re talking about things being unpopular, there’s nothing more unpopular amongst the American people than the Republican Party. Or if we’re talking about what side people are on, it’s definitely not the side of the GOP.
