That's just great Kent..so we could have a honorable loser as our former nominee. Makes me feel so much better about his campaign's missed opportunities. Or not. For my money, I want a nominee who is willing to make the case against Barack Obama, or at the very least, allow others (including Palin) to do it for him. We fight on because the prospect of Barack Obama as President is frightening enough for us that we are doing what we can even if McCain will not. It's logical to ask what we are wasting our time for fighting Obama if McCain won't make a coherent case against Barack or FOR himself.

[Okay, here goes my best McCain impression]

My friends, wait just a minute.

McCain had one experience with ACORN, the amnesty event in Miami in '06. Is that really a big deal? I say no.

I'm frustrated with McCain's inability, or unwillingness, to hit Obama head on, but I think he's a gentleman. And, agree or disagree, he's doing what he said he would do: Run an honorable campaign.

Somebody forgot to impress upon him, however, that presidential campaigns get ugly and you have to get tough. But, I think, being 'honorable' is how he can live with himself at the end of the day.

It's not much different from any of the Republicans. We just don't fight as hard as the Left. The Democrats will stop at nothing. They say and do anything to win. They just want it more.

I totally agree with you. I blame Huckabee and the media for our nominee John McCain. It's not the fault of conservatives or supporters of non-Huckabee candidates. We warned this party about McCain's weaknesses, but even I had no idea about the ACORN ties or one of his lobbyists lobbying for Saddam. This is very discouraging.

The media did their job well as Obama's getaway driver by picking our candidate for us.

Illegal immigration
Global warming hysteria
ACORN
Drilling in Anwar
Waterboarding
Reverend Wright being off limits

What other issues are off the table because McCain holds the same position as Obama?
