If the Democrats ever nominated a candidate like this, the Republican stranglehold over social conservatives would be over, but I don't see this happening (at least not in '08). I'm not sure that the rest of the conservatives would agree with him on campaign-finance reform since that seems to be a sticking point against McCain. He sounds like a great guy.
