That’s exactly the point. I don’t think that I could have said this any better than you did right there. This is totally disrespectful to the people like yourself and your wife who have tried to follow the rules.

I think that a majority of politicians in both parties have stopped listening to “we the people” and it’s sad to see that happening.

Thanks for your comments. Stop back anytime. :)

My wife is Italian. I have dual citizenship. I went through all the stuff to be legally in Italy, my wife went through all the stuff to be here legally.

A guest worker program does exist. It is called an L1 visa.

My favorite point of those proposing amnesty is, "these are hard working law abiding people who just want a better life. If we require them the leave before being admitted on any type of program they will not."

For me that is a contradiction, either they are law abiding people or they are not. If they are they will leave, if they are not they won't and should be criminally prosecuted.

The idea that we cannot enforce the deportations is absurd. If 15 million Americans stopped paying taxes I can assure you 15 million Americans would get arrested.

This is about 1 thing. Cheap, maybe even slave, labor for large businesses so they can keep their margins up. That is all, nothing else. If a politicians votes for anything less than enforcing current law they support business over the needs of "we the people".
